About three years ago my two youngest girls came in to my bedroom at 10:30 at night crying asking my to homeschool them. Of course I said yes, and then went on to ask them what in the world was going on? Were they being bullied? What was going on so bad that they didn’t want to go to school anymore. My 8th grader said that she just didn’t want to be there any more. That no one respected themselves or anyone else. My 6th grader said she just wanted to be innocent again. She didn’t want to know all the curse words and….. So of course I did what most parents would do and we started homeschooling.
